Nevermind, I got it. I had to set my smaller screen as my primary display, fired up eve, changed to the right resolution, exited out, change my primary display back to the bigger screen, and it retained the setting.

I'm trying to run 2 clients, one on my primary (1920x1200) monitor, and one on my secondary (1280x768) monitor. I've tried editing the prefs.ini on the second EVE install to "force" 1280x768, but it seems to ignore my settings and default to 1024...
